Participants are divided into groups according to their skill levels: beginners, basics and advanced.

Camps are held if there are at least five participants.

Descriptions:

The camps focus on one topic for the entire weekend (Fri-Sun). All camps cover the topic in a variety of ways, practicing the topic from the perspectives of technique, strength, mobility, and body care.

Handstand:

Beginners programm:

  • Understanding and practicing the basics one area at the time
  • Safe bail out from handstand
  • Handstand attempts on the ground and against a wall
  • Balancing basics
  • Different handstand drills and other exercises to get the strength and mobility for handstand
  • Different basic handstand positions: straight, straddle, tuck
  • Body care for handstands


Basic level programm:

  • Practicing the different areas of handstand at the same time. We learn to understand how the change in one area interacts with each other
  • Different handstand positions: straight, straddle, tuck, seven - and combining them
  • Safe bail out from a height (e.g. from handstand canes or parallel bars) and falling from different positions (straddle, log, seven, etc.)
  • Kicking into a handstand with two feet
  • Long holds, balancing and breathing in a handstand
  • Various handstand drills
  • Exercises to strengthen handstand: mobility and strength needed
  • Body care for a handstander


Advanced programm:

  • Strengthening the baseline
  • Playing and combining with different handstand positions
  • Press to handstand
  • One-Arm handstand
  • Flag handstand
  • Handstand with canes
  • Strength and mobility to support handstand
  • Handstand body care


Acrobatics:

Beginners programm

  • Somersault, flying somersault, front flip
  • Cartwheel, Arabian
  • Back somersault and back flip
  • Handstand, handstand push, front handspring
  • Bridge, back handspring
  • In addition: basic coordination, strength, rhythm, mobility exercises


Basic level programm

  • Different flips from the trampoline: tuck flip, pike flip, straight body flip
  • Back flip, front flip and side flip on land
  • Aerial
  • Handstand, handstand push, front handspring
  • Bridge, back handspring
  • Sequences such as Arabian-back flip, Arabian-back handspring


Advanced programm: 

  • Different flips and flip combos on the trampoline: tuck, pike, straight, twist and double flip
  • Back flip, front flip and side flip on land
  • Aerial forward and side
  • Sequences such as Arabian-back flip, Arabian-back handspring, arabian-back handspring-backflip, front handspring-front flip etc.
  • Mobility and strength training that is needed to support body in advanced level skills


Aerial acrobatics (NEW):

Open level

The teaching progresses from each person's own starting level, and suitable variations are offered for different levels. 

This camp is led by Pinja Schönberg, an experienced and inspiring aerial acrobatics teacher. Pinja creates a relaxed but goal-oriented atmosphere for the classes, where everyone can progress at their own pace and experience the joy of success.

Beginners programm

  • Getting to know different equipment safely (silks, hoop, trapeze, rope)
  • Basic holds, lifts and simple movements
  • Basics of body control and body shaping in the air
  • Exercises that support core strength and mobility
  • Short movement sequences and transitions
  • Safe working with equipment


Basic level programm:  

  • Strengthening technique with different equipment safely (silks, hoop, trapeze, rope)
  • Smooth transitions from one movement to another
  • Practice different movement variations

Mobility and flexibility: splits and upper body

Note: at the same time there is Street Workout power camp, where you can take part as a part of this camp if you want to combine them.

The goal of the camp is to increase mobility, develop body control, and open up mobility for new movements and develop existing ones. The exercises are suitable for both beginners and more experienced mobility workers!

The camp focuses on developing both lower and upper body mobility safely and effectively. The training includes both dynamic and static stretching techniques, PNF exercises, and active mobility exercises. We also strengthen body control, strength needed for mobility, and do body care.

Programm:

  • Splits Basics: Developing Mobility in the Hip Flexors, Hamstrings, and Glutes
  • Front and Side Split Progressions: Safe and Effective Progression Patterns for All Levels of Trainees
  • Active Mobility: Strength and Control Exercises for Splits

Partner acrobatics:

The camp is suitable for trainees of all levels and does not require any previous experience in pair acrobatics. The exercises are adapted to the skill level of the participants, and the emphasis is on safe and fun learning together!

Beginners programm:

  • Safety and cooperation: communication and trust with a partner and spotters
  • Spotting others safely
  • Basic lifts and supports on L-base and standing acro: bird, whale, princess, bat, two high, etc.
  • Balance and weight transfer: practicing static positions such as bird position, whale position, bat position, foot to hand hold, hand to hand holds
  • Dynamic movements: different transitions from bird to chare, whale to foot to hand, carterwheels..
  • Body maintenance and restorative exercises for pair acrobatics
  • Floor contact techniques for bases and body control training for flyers
  • If needed: More advanced lifts, balances and throws: handstands with a partner, icarian

Basic and advanced level programm:

  • Repeating the communication and trust with a partner and spotters
  • Strengthening the basics on L-base bird, whale, princess, bat, etc.
  • Strengthening the basics on standing acro: two high walks, squats etc.
  • Learning handstand on hands
  • Balance and weight transfers on both L-base and standing foot to hand and hand to hand
  • Many ways to arrive to the two high and land from there
  • Dynamic movements: pops and releases from bird to chair, chair to bird, whale to foot to hand etc.
  • Icarian flips
  • Body maintenance and restorative exercises for pair acrobatics
